The honey

Full-bodied flavour, bold and persistent on the palate, with characteristic resinous and slightly tangy finish. Fine, creamy crystallisation.
The Beekeeping
From the remote west coast rainforests of Tasmania - Australia’s island state, famed for the world’s cleanest air and water - comes one of the rarest and most celebrated honeys.
Produced by generations of skilled family beekeepers from late December to March, Leatherwood captures the floral essence of the ancient Gondwanan forests in every drop. Leatherwood is not only rare and distinctive, but what makes it truly unique is that it also one of the world’s most powerful functional bioactive honeys. Independent research confirms Leatherwood Honey to be rich in unique compounds and prebiotic oligosaccharides, it supports gut and immune health, with an exceptional antibacterial rating (TA up to 35). Voted the World’s Best Honey and ranked among the Top 5 food products globally, Tasmanian Leatherwood combines provenance, exclusivity, and broad bioactivity — making it a natural ingredient with uses across food, health, and cosmetics.
