The honey
Harvested from the lime-tree forests of Northeastern Bulgaria, this linden honey is intensely minty, herbal, and floral, surpassing other European linden honeys in its menthol freshness. With a light amber color and balsamic aroma, it often exhibits sedative and expectorant properties, a nod to its traditional use in folk medicine.
Bulgarian linden honey tends to be lower in bitterness and higher in floral notes, with a strong but pleasant aftertaste.
Health benefit: Linden honey is cherished for its natural calming effects, aiding with sleep disturbances and nervous tension. It is also used to relieve cold symptoms—thanks to its soothing effects on the respiratory tract.

The beekeeping
Deniz Ahmed is the youngest but most ambitious entrepreneur in the local beekeeping community of the region of Razgrad-Popovo, in NorthEast Bulgaria.
Deniz undertook this bee business on his own and currently has two apiaries with over 000 hives, the Langstroth system.
Utilizing EU funds he has built a distinguished bio certified facility with capacity for large production and processing.
Unfortunately, due to the depopulation of the region, most of the time he has to work on his own, but this fact doesn't crash his will to develop the farm. He works year round without any rest, and manages to sell his production in bulk, often also to international buyers.
