Calendar photo submission

We are planning to publish an Apimondia calendar for 2026 with beekeeping-related photographs provided by our member associations to give visibility to you and the activities you carry out with your members.
 
The idea is that you ask your members to submit nice and original beekeeping-related pictures for inclusion in the calendar. Apimondia will select the 12 best ones and publish them in the calendar.
 
We will give one free stock of printed calendars to each member association and the authors. A number of calendars will also be available for sale to the public.

What kind of photos can I submit?

• Photos of beekeeping taken at different time of the year to be able to cover all the months with photographs of all the seasons;
  
• Pictures that capture different and typical aspects and activities of beekeeping to include also historical, traditional and very original aspects of how beekeeping is practiced in your country.
  
• Do not send selfies or pictures showing company names or any form of publicity. Photos can show people as long as they have agreed to be photographed.
  

 
Photo quality and format

• Only submit good quality and high resolution photographs (at least 300 DPI).
  
• Photos should be landscape format (horizontal)
  

 
Provide a description
Send a brief description of the Association and the photographer.
 
How will the photos be selected?
The final photographs will be selected by an international panel appointed by Apimondia. In order to ensure diversity of themes and sources, only one photograph per member association and related author can be selected.

What is the deadline for submission?
Photographs and descriptions should be sent by 22 August 2025
