Hosted by the Turkish Beekeeping Association (TAB) the Apimondia International Apicultural Congress was held in Istanbul, Turkey between 29 September - 4 October 2017

Istanbul - one of the world’s most ancient metropolis with its rich history and wonderful nature. With its 8,500 years of history, Istanbul is the former capital of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. Separated to two continents, Asian and European, the city is an ideal example of natural beauty.

Located in the heart of the city, equipped with high-tech equipment and conference facilities, Istanbul Congress Center (ICC) offers a unique location set against the breath-taking beauty of Bosphorus. Its location offers a large commercial banks, and shopping areas are within an easy walking distance or short taxi ride.

Beside the beauties of Istanbul, the Congress will offer a good opportunity to exchange experiences in various aspects and to discuss latest developments in the beekeeping world. The organizing committee of this project is a very big team who has a dedicated preparation work since 2009. We are planning to use the latest interactive technologies in the sessions which gives more opportunity to share your experience and increase your knowledge and competencies. We’ll create a strong scientific program with the necessary breadth and depth, we hope that you will always remember the Congress with good memories and will return home after the congress with renewed enthusiasm for your profession.
