The honey
Honey was extracted in early July with a centrifuge extractor. Honey contains pollen traces of typically but not solely, originating from nectar collected from; Red clover (Hedysarum coronarium), Boar thistle (Galactites tomentosa), Citrus trees (citrus spp.) and borage (Borage officinalis), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus spp), and carob trees (Ceratonia siliqua). No water content is available.
The beekeeping
Beekeeper is over 40 years of age and has a small scale apiary in the south part of Malta, namely Marsaxlokk.
