The honey
Honey was extracted in late July with a centrifuge extractor. Honey contains pollen traces of typically but not solely, originating from nectar collected from; Red clover (Hedysarum coronarium), Boar thistle (Galactites tomentosa), Citrus trees (citrus spp.) and borage (Borage officinalis), and Mediterranean thyme (Thymbra capitate). No water content is available.
The beekeeping
Beekeeper is over 40 years old and keeps bees in various locations around Malta with the origin of this honey's apiary being in Chadwick Lakes area, near Rabat. It is a small to medium sized apiary.
