The honey
This honey was collected in June of this year, 2025. Nectar sources: Chacá (Bursera simaruba), Box kaatsim (Acacia gaumeri), Ja'bin (Piscidia piscipula), Tsi'tsil'che (Gymnopodium floribundum, X-k'anlol che (Senna racemosa) are the native flora of the Yucatan Peninsula that give it specific properties. The moisture is 24-26%. Melipona honey is known for antimicrobial activity and is mainly used to treat skin diseases, gastrointestinal and eye infections

Ba'kaab Jobnil is a meliponary located in Ticimul, Uman, Yucatan, Mexico. The meliponary has 18 hives in hollow logs, named jobons. Josely Borges and Carolina Díaz are the Beekeepers, who have the mission of preserving native stingless bees.
