Honey from the wild and remote Whanganui region of the North Island of New Zealand, this particular honey is harvested in the shadow of Mount Ruapehu - an untamed, unforgiving alpine environment which is far from any potential agricultural chemicals or other potential environmental toxins.
Head beekeeper Henere Larson oversees a small team of mainly indigenous Māori beekeepers, who tend to over 2000 hives on their tribal land. |
