No5, Raspberry Honey
The honey
This honey is from the wild forrest of the east side of Norway, this is extracted around 1 july right after the raspberry flowering has ended .
This area contains mostly wild raspberry , wild blueberrys , and lingon berrys. But also a big amount of salix trees for the early spring flowering , and wild flowers that gives pollen almost all season here in the forest . The bees have always something to go on in the wild forrest very good for their health and colony it self I try to make the bees dry down their own honey , but sometines they collect so much in short time that they are not able to dry the honey down before I have to harvest the forrest honey / raspberry honey and drive up to the mountains with the bees. So i harvest and dry the honey in my production room, I check and make sure that the honey is around 18 % water content or less before extraction . This honey is very sweet and easy to eat and use for all that you want to have sweeter , This honey is amazing for use in all kind of use for making food sweet. I use this honey for all my baking of breads , cakes and so on . Have a sweet urge, take a spoon of this honey The Beekeeping
My beekeeping is located in the east side of Norway in the forest and mountains of norway .
I work with the Black bees and with breeding of the blackbee Apis mellifera mellifera . This area i live and work with the bees in are wild Nature all around , the climate up here is cold and short season, that is really good for the bees I work hard to find the best area for the bees , and have carefully selected apiarys that have a big diversity of wild flowers and a big amount of them to make sure they have a selection big enough to keep their colony and health as good as possible . I try to breed on these Black bees to find the best genetics and carefully select bees that Can work against varroa on their own , so i dont need to use any type of medisin on the bees. My main work is to help the bees take care of them self in the nature . Norsk vikinghonning AS: Vikinghonning.com
