Re1, Miel Rare
The honeyMIEL RARE is a precious collection of honeys harvested in very limited quantities, during brief and highly localized nectar flows.
Some jars are born from the tan rouge tree, the source of Réunion’s legendary green honey, while others capture the essence of rare monofloral blooms such as califon, jamrosat, tropical oak, jouvence, or bois de pomme. Each vintage is carefully analyzed by a laboratory to confirm its dominant pollen and reveal the floral signature of each nectar. This exceptional range has received multiple awards, winning gold and silver medals at the French National Honey Competition as well as at the prestigious Concours Général Agricole at the Paris Agricultural Show. A true treasure for connoisseurs of rare, terroir-rich honeys. The Beekeeping
Les Ruchers d’Autre Foies, founded by Bernard Savreux and his wife, passionately celebrate the honeyed treasures of Réunion Island — a volcanic jewel in the Indian Ocean, renowned for its lush biodiversity and dramatic landscapes.
From tropical forests and highland plateaus to coastal plains, the island’s extraordinary flora infuses each honey with rare character. Their three creations — Miel Tropical Clair, Miel Tropical Foncé, and Miels Rares — embody the richness of this exceptional terroir. Harvested in pristine, protected environments, these rare honeys showcase unique artisanal expertise and a deep respect for the island’s natural heritage. |
